I’ve been thinking about what ONE can do.
One man invented the light bulb!
One huge bomb ended world war two!
One degree is the difference between hot and boiling!
One man moved a nation to do unspeakable things in Germany!
One man wrote three quarters of the New Testament!
One sun gives light and life to nearly seven billion people!
One woman made a statement that echoes through the decades!
What could ONE positive voice in your workplace do?
What could ONE act of kindness in your neighbourhood change?
What could ONE person, completely committed to God accomplish in their lifetime?
Could that ONE be YOU?
What are you going to DO?

It came up in conversation again today. Why do so many people not act on their God-given ideas and dreams?
I have heard great ideas from too many people to count but I wonder what stops them from taking action.
It seems to me that dreams are more likely to be achieved if you take some action.
I can give encouragement… you know the old ‘go for it’ speech. It’s true! I really do mean it, but in more cases than I want to remember: nothing… nada… zippo! Nothing happens, no action takes place. The ideas remain only ideas.
The Bible says “Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.”
Notice that? ACT! What a novel idea.
So…. what are YOU going to do? Today?
